Our birds are Greenfire Farms stock. The Ayam Ketawa AKA Laughing Chicken only arrived in the US in April 2019 after a 4 year long process to get them out of Asia, through a European breeder and then finally, and legally, into the US. The day-olds sell for 0 each, plus shipping! We MAY well have roosters available later this summer, for collection only - Summersville, West Virginia.
The Laughing Chicken Rooster and his pretty girls will bring laughter to your life!  This amazing bird originates from a small region of Indonesia and is highly sought-after for its exceptional "Crow".  In Indonesia, the breed is also known as Ayam Gaga; in Buginese it is called Manu Gaga (literally Stammering Chicken). ONLY the roosters "Laugh". Competitions take place across Indonesia.. go to YouTube and search on "Laughing Chicken Compilation"!  Amazingly, these roos start to CROW as early as THREE WEEKS, but the full "laugh" only starts to develop at around 12 weeks.
Our roosters have two types of "laugh". One is the "slow laugh" known as "Gaga". He sounds like a guffawing Hillbilly! This chicken lays just 60 to 70 eggs a year, so they are in great demand!
For this small number of extremely RARE breed eggs, we suggest using the awesome Brinsea Products Mini II Advance Automatic 7 Egg Incubator
This has auto EVERYTHING. It even stops turning (rolling) on Day 18 and automatically adjusts for correct humidity and temperature, and we HIGHLY recommend it for all your small-scale hatching requirements!
We also send an instruction sheet on how to handle eggs after they have been received by you to help you achieve the best hatch rate possible.
Eggs will be shipped by INSURED USPS Priority Mail
We pack hatching (and eating!) eggs WAY better than anyone we know, and am VERY conscientious about shipping the freshest eggs possible, but
WE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR HATCHING FAILURES
In case of visibly damaged eggs, or eggs delayed in shipping to a point beyond viability,
BUYERS
will need to file a claim with USPS.
USPS allows claims to be made after a 15 day shipping period has elapsed. IF they arrive, for example, on Day 13, you would have to present VISIBLY DAMAGED eggs to your local post office.. AND the original shipping box so it can be scanned in order for YOU to make a claim. We are no longer able to claim for loss from THIS end, as USPS insists that the original package and contents is to be presented to the local PO .. and that is
IMPOSSIBLE
for us to do as the package is with YOU, the customer!
