    :  We guarantee you will be shipped the freshest, cleanest, unwashed eggs available on shipping day, and packaged in a manner that I have been successfully using for many years.  However, we can not guarantee the way your package will be handled by the USPS employees while it is in route to your destination.  Nor, can we guarantee your percentage of hatched chicks; since the incubation conditions inside your incubator or with your broody hens are completely out of our control.
    These are not normal barnyard chickens. Svart Hona is a very rare breed. Very beautiful, unique & Friendly birds. Grab this opportunity to aquire some rare birds at a great price. Our birds are our pets. Our birds are all organic & free ranging..only secured in coup/pen at night. We hatch our birds, then hand raise them. We have a 99% fertility & successful hatch rate at our location. But cannot gurantee anything due to the handling by the postal service. I will include extra when possible.     When your eggs arrive, please unpack them and allow them to rest in a carton, large end up, for at least 8 hours before placing them in the incubator.
    Please be aware shipped eggs can be a risk before bidding. I do not offer refunds, accept returns or ship free replacement eggs. If you cannot accept the risk associated with shipped eggs, please consider buying live chicks from a hatchery. Please be sure you agree to these terms before bidding.
    I get a great hatch here on the farm but cannot guarantee your hatch rate due to postal handling, incubating methods, etc. Please leave feedback on the condition of the eggs when you receive them and I will leave feedback for you. I send fresh, clean eggs packed securely via USPS PRIORITY MAIL.
    The Svarthöna/Swedish Black Hen is are one of the most beautiful birds I have ever seen. Svarthöna's are very hard to find . They are the true melanistic breed black, the feathers ,skin, bones,and meat ,they lay a small to med eggs & have a great personality. We use only, all black birds for breeding. But in this breed or any other all black breed, you can get white toes , most will turn black. You can get silver/ white ear lobes this is not uncommon. The comb could get a reddish tint. It's called leakage, or an occasional white feather,if you get any of these traits, it is part of the breed. However, you should NOT use them for breeding. They should be culled from the flock
