They have some of the most beautiful plumage you'll ever see and make great pets and livestock!
They are very hardy and do very well with our cold winters. ❄
They are very quiet when compared to other duck breeds, and are very easy to keep and raise.
If you decide to spend plenty of time with them in the first few weeks of life, they will imprint on you and follow you around everywhere you go, just like a puppy!
They are playful, curious and non aggressive.
They can also be raised indoors!
They should always be kept in the company of other ducks ( a pair will do).🦆🦆
You may also choose to raise them as livestock as they produce delicious and nutritious eggs and meat!🥚🍳
Each bird has a personality of its own and they are all quite a joy to watch and will surely keep you entertained!

They are a rare breed, and are in fact on the watch list of the livestock conservancy.
I have silver phase genetics in my flock after years of selective breeding.
My hens always produce some very colorful babies!🐥
Hens will lay an egg a day, just about everyday, and won't quit laying in winter, when all my chickens usually do.
