Description
The Vulcan K60GLT tilting kettle has a self-contained steam source in its jacket, which surrounds the bottom two thirds of the kettle to provide even, efficient heat. Perfect for high-volume cooking of soup, stew, and sauces, this unit has a 60-gallon working capacity because the interior has a large, ellipsoidal bottom. With its 316 stainless steel interior liner, this unit is resistant to corrosion and can cook highly acidic food. Embossed in the kettle, gallon and liter marks enable users to measure product as it is added.
Because the Vulcan K60GLT steam-jacketed kettle is so large, it is emptied through a tilt mechanism. The tilt handle is manual and tilts fully to 95 degrees, ensuring the food is drained completely. Constructed to withstand heavy applications, the bar rim is dent and bend resistant, and a faucet bracket is included with the kettle if operators would like to supply a constant flow of water.
