This is a vintage metal pinback political campaign button telling Eleanor Roosevelt to start packing because the Willkies are coming.. It measures 1 3/4" and is in condition shown. It would make a great addition to any collection.
Mr. Wilkie was born in Elwood, Indiana and lost the 1940 election for President to Franklin D. Roosevelt. Mr. Wilkie became FDR's personal emissary abroad after the United States entered WWII.
