In 1963 UK toy manufacturer Pedigree introduced SINDY, a 12" jointed vinyl fashion doll as a competitor to Mattel's popular Barbie doll. With permission from the Ideal Toy Company, Sindy was based on Ideal's 12" Tammy doll. Early Sindy dolls very closely resemble Tammy and can share clothing & shoes. See comparison pic.

Single white rear metal popper (snap)
Matching elastic waist bloomers/knickers w/white lace trim
Original white soft vinyl single strap sandals
