Item Description
The Victor TT-101, released in Japan in 1981 during the "Golden Era" of Japanese audiophile equipment, is a well-regarded but extremely rare direct drive turntable of high quality of both engineering and sound. This was considered as a “laboratory series” turntable. A salient feature of the TT-101 is the advanced pitch control system. The TT-101 features a low-vibration DC motor with a coreless structure absent of cocking. Its stability is ensured by an FG servo circuit and high-precision, high-speed all-around integral rotation detection. The TT-101 has some impressive stats, including an SNR of 75 dB (DIN-B) and wow and flutter of <0.02% (WRMS). Overall, the TT-101 is a superb unit, and when combined with a great tonearm, you'll have a system with fantastic performance. The TT-101 is a highly precise and ultra-rare vintage Japanese turntable that you won’t want to miss!
This turntable is in very good condition, with some minor signs of age and use overall (please see photos). This turntable has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation.
