Three (3) Vintage 1968 Eugene McCarthy Presidential Campaign Buttons.
The 1968 Presidential election was one of the most interesting is recent times. President Lydon Johnson decided not to seek a second term, his Vice-President Hubert Humphrey threw in his hat, anti-Viet Nam War candidate Eugene McCarthy was doing great in the Primaries and Robert Kennedy entered the race only to be later assassinated.
The Democratic Convention in Chicago was an absolute disaster with Riots and resulted in Humphrey winning the Democratic Nomination. In the November Election, Richard Nixon was elected with a narrow Popular Vote Victory due to George Wallace, a 3
    rd
    Party Candidate.
All of the Buttons are in Very Good ++ Condition.
