Technics SL-1200 Mk I Direct Drive Turntable

This Technics SL-1200 Mk I is in excellent physical and working condition. I bought it from the estate of the original owner last fall. I put it away while recovering from surgery and realized I like the automatic features of my SL-1300. The pictures show the condition. The plinth is in very good shape with no scratches that I have seen. The dust cover has just the lightest swirls from dusting it throughout the years. The hinges and feet work well. The billet aluminum 45 adapter is there as is the original tube of Technics spindle oil. The interconnects are original and work well. The pots have been cleaned and it holds speed very well. It comes with a Pickering XV-15 625E cartridge with the original Pickering D625 stylus. The cartridge and stylus play well, but I don’t know the hours on the stylus. Judging by the turntables physical condition, I don’t think it was used a lot. The serial number is 000425, so I think this is a fairly early example.
