All controls are functional.
The arm was being a bit stubborn; not moving or moving very slow, so I took off the cover and applies some REM oil to the moving parts.
Now, everything is functioning well. I allowed the player to play for 1/2 an hour with no problems.
Although the unit functions at time of listing, let's keep in mind that this is a piece of vintage audio equipment who's components are prone to failure at anytime, or the unit may operate randomly.
A clean and solid unit with no damage. There are some specs of a stubborn substance that I cannot remove with water on the dust cover and front panel.
You will also find some scratches and blemishes on the dust cover, but no cracks or damage.
The platter is pliable and free of any dry rotting.
In terms of sound, the unit is putting out two equal channels of crisp, rich sound. However, there is some light static in the playback. This may be from the unit needing a new cartridge, service of my record is simply in rough shape.
I am not an audiophile when it comes to turntables. Ergo, the playback sounds like that of a typical record player to me.
The only real problem that I can detect is one of the spring loaded feet on the bottom of the player is broken at the screw mount. The foot is included and is taped in place.
