This beautiful 2 Oz Silver coin is dedicated to the legend of Saint George and the Dragon. The coin has Antique Finish quality, presents a beautiful High Relief and comes in an elegant case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 500 pieces worldwide.
The reverse of the coins presents a beautiful and dynamic
image: Saint George rides a rearing horse, as he lifts his hands and spears the dragon with strength and valor. The chiseled lines on his body are defined and stand out with incredible detail, contrasting against the textures of the scales on the dragon’s body. The design also includes the inscription: "ST GEORGE SLAYS THE DRAGON" - the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin depicts the Coat of Arms of Chad and the inscriptions: “REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD” – the issuing country, “10000 FRANCS CFA” – the face value and “2021” – the year of issue. The coin is made with a new minting technique, called “Bi-Metal Plus”, applied to give an impressive size and weight. This is made possible by combining 11.5 Oz of Copper embodied within 2 Oz of pure Silver to deliver a super Ultra-High Relief.
