    Description

    This is a vintage 3 inch VOM in a heavy leather case. It comes with the case, meter, and probes. A bent red probe has separated from its wire but it can be re-soldered. There are also attachable alligator clips for the probes.
    The meter and leather case are in excellent condition and appear to have seen little use. The inside looks whistle clean. Note that there are two batteries secured in the meter. There appears to be no or minimal corrosion. I did not attempt to remove them. I assume they are expired since the ohm meter section did not register. Resistors used in the meter are 1% tolerance.
    I check dc volts with a nine volt battery and it registered properly. I did the same with ac volts and a household outlet. Again, it was a reasonable reading.
