RRR UNPUBLISHED Earliest Islamic Coin Countermark "Jayyid" Arab Byzantine 640s

A highly interesting and otherwise unpublished Arab Byzantine Fals with the countermark "Jayyid" or Good (= allowed).
The state of the host coin indicates that it had not been well circulated prior to the application of the Countermark Jayyid - and as such this coin most probably was countermarked during the very early stages of the Islamic Arab Conquest of the Levant.
This would most definitely put this coin as one of the earliest examples known of Islamic countermarks dating to the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the early Rashidun Caliphs.
The use of Jayyid as a validation term is well noted in Arab Sassanid Silver issues but for bronze fulus is quite rare. Album notes the use of this countermark (
Album 3504; for c/m) but we have not encountered and could not pinpoint the use of this countermark on any other similar early Byzantine Follis.
