    al-Mahdi, 775-785, AR dirham (2.90g), Qasr al-Salam, AH168, A-215.1, 2 pellets above reverse field, lovely strike, choice EF, R. Qasr al-Salam was a failed attempt to establish a new central Abbasid administrative center near Baghdad. Its coinage is dated AH167-169.
    For the Obverse standard issue of Madinat Salam 167. The muling is indicating by the Bakhin on the reverse which was exclusive of Mahdi's reign to Qasr Al Salam issues only.
