This rare, vintage original 7-1/4"x 8-1/2" wire photo featuring
Hall of Fame

Roy Campanella of the Brooklyn Dodgers.
This photo was shot on October 13, 1956 during the’56 World Series
between the Dodgers and the Yankees showing Campy
crossing home plate after hitting a home run.
This is a Type 1 original wire photo from United Press Associations
and is stamped on the reverse with their official news wire stamp,
guaranteeing the authenticity of photo.
Wire photo is dated
on the back of the photo October 13, 1956.
This beautiful vintage first generation wire photograph is superb
in contrast and clarity.
