Red Grange 1924 or 1925 vintage Illinois vs Michigan iconic game photo RARE

Description

Up for sale is a vintage circa 1924 or 1925 original photo of University of Illinois' legendary running back, Red Grange running against the Michigan Wolverines (can identify it is Michigan basedon Stamman identification for defender). Of course, on October 18, 1924 Red Grange scored 4 TD's in the first 12 minutes against the powerhouse Wolverines in what would be a game remembered for the ages.  This most likely is from that game.  Very few images exist from that game, and the ones that do, don't have Grange in the photo (Memorial Stadium was dedicated that game). Although there is some blurriness to the image, I think it adds to the artisty, of how Grange  would become nicknamed "The Galloping Ghost," by Grantland Rice.  This is a wonderful, unique image!
