Description
12 Golden Phoenix Chicken Hatching eggs from Chickweed Farms LLC. NPIP certified #3830. These are pure bred show quality birds. They are standard size not the bred down bantam versions. You'll love these amazingly beautiful and graceful birds! Our roosters have flowing saddle feathers that touch the ground and gorgeous tail feathers that grow to lengths of 3+ feet. Their beauty lasts year round as they only molt once every 2 to 3 years. Our roosters are extremely docile and love attention. Our hens while not as colorful as the roosters, make up for it in personalty. All of our hens are gentle, graceful, smart, sweet and very inquisitive. They love contact and especially love being held. Our birds are Gorgeous Show Quality chickens. These lovely birds would be a great ornamental addition to your flock or garden. Each of our birds meet breed specifications. We feed our birds only natural organic foods free from hormones and antibiotics. Our eggs are extremely fertile. You will receive 6 fresh eggs. We will package each egg with care and ship priority 3 day mail as soon as possible after purchase. Shipments go out in the morning after egg collection. IF YOU WISH TO HAVE YOUR EGGS HELD FOR PICKUP AT YOUR LOCAL POST OFFICE OR IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD SPECIAL SHIPPING HANDLING FOR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF .95 YOU MUST NOTIFY US IMMEDIATELY AFTER WINNING AUCTION AND MAKING PAYMENT. If we do not receive special shipping directives from you in a timely manner your eggs will be mailed 3 day priority. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A HATCH RATE OF OUR EGGS due to conditions outside of our control including handling during delivery and your incubation practices. We recommend paying the extra fee for special handling but this is entirely up to the buyer. PLEASE NOTE: A COMMON RISK YOU ASSUME WITH SHIPPED EGGS IS AIR SACK DETACHMENT "Scrambled Eggs". This is caused during the shipping process from air pressure changes and vibrations and package handling by postal service. TO maximize the viability of your shipped eggs it is recommended to let eggs rest pointy end down in the cartons for 1-2 days prior to incubating. Then place eggs in the incubator still in the carton for another 4-5 days before begining to turn them. This allows to eggs to settle and may facilitate reattachment. We are always available to answer any questions about incubation or care and we do very much appreciate your business.
