    Rare 1820 Fort Bridget Silver Engraved Plate.

    DAKOTA TERRITORY
    1 1/2” x 1” 24 mm x 35mm. Weight 4 grams
    Very soft greenish patina that can be also seen inside the engraving grooves.
    TWO PUNCHED HOLES
    Engraving is typical of the period. Very fine condition with a dull patina. May have been just a bit over cleaned at one time.
    Plate came with a small collection of fur trade relics out of Bow Valley, Nebraska in the 1970s. Was in the Roland Zinsser (Rockville, Connecticut) museum until 1998.
