Description
Hundreds of millions of people around the world wear masks in the streets to clean their inhaled air. Especially in megacities and large cities. And majority of them know that to clean air is not enough. The most harmful problem for residents of megacities is the extremely low level of oxygen in the air. This patent solves this problem. “Smart portable breathing mask.” It is as comfortable to wear as a normal breathing mask, but it allows the user to maintain a normal level of oxygen in the inhaled air using a smartphone. This patent has great market prospects.
The purpose of the patented mask is to accurately measure the automatic supply of oxygen to the inhaled air. Automatic maintenance of the established level of oxygen in the inhaled air.
The main differences from mechanical analogues:
A) The user has the ability to set the oxygen level in the inhaled air
B) The oxygen content in the inhaled air is maintained at a user-set level automatically
C) Oxygen is not supplied continuously, but is strictly dosed, depending on data from external gas analyzers.
1. The last decades the issue of air pollution has become very acute. This is especially true for large cities, megalopolises, large industrial centers. The exhaust gases of automobiles, industrial wastes, smoke from fuel combustion of thermal power plants are released into the air. For urban residents in some countries has long been the norm wearing masks to filter the inhaled air from harmful impurities and dust. But conventional filtering masks do not solve a much more serious problem - reducing the oxygen content in the inhaled air. Normally, atmospheric air should contain about 21% oxygen. Such amount thereof ensures normal functioning of the human body systems. Even a small decrease in the oxygen content leads to a state of hypoxia. In large cities, however, the usual oxygen content is only 18–19%; sometimes, under adverse weather conditions, it drops to 16% or less. Constant life in such conditions means life under constant hypoxia, and is fraught with serious problems for the body. In China alone, more than 800 million people live in cities, but in general, around 4 billion people live in cities around the world (UN estimate). Most of these people are not protected from reducing the oxygen content in the inhaled air. "Breathing device" will allow to maintain a normal level of oxygen in the inhaled air.
2. Oxygen content of the air decreases also in closed spaces, where a lot of people present. They can actively engage in sports, work, just to attend the recreational activities and so on. At the same time they consume oxygen, and its content in the air decreases. A “breathing device” will help maintain normal levels of oxygen in the air we breathe.
3. The problem of reducing the oxygen content in the air often arises in industrial plants where oxygen in the air is used as an oxidizing agent. People present during such processes have a constant lack of oxygen. A “breathing device” will allow them to get rid of this problem and breathe air with normal oxygen content.
Opportunities:
1. The main opportunity - breathe air with normal oxygen content in any environment: in the city or in the highlands, in industry, in gyms and in all cases when there is a problem of reducing the level of oxygen in the air.
2. Using my technical solutions the user can temporarily raise the oxygen level in the inhaled air to levels higher than conventional rate of 21%, in arbitrary independently defined purpose (therapeutic, sport, etc.)
Today, there are breathing devices to compensate for the lack of oxygen in the inspired air. They are used in mountaineering, aviation, hazardous industries, medicine and so on. My patent differs manufacturability, ease of use, a high level of portability, opportunity to control using modern devices (smartphones, etc.), the possibility of accurate dosing of oxygen, low oxygen consumption.
This Patent gives priority to obtaining patents in the United States, Europe and China, as well as in other countries.
