NOLAN RYAN
is arguably the greatest strikeout pitcher in Major League history! He played for the New York Mets, California Angels, Houston Astros and Texas Rangers from 1968 through 1993, was an 8 time All-Star, 2 time ERA leader, 11 time Strikeout leader, won 324 games, recorded a 3.19 ERA and an amazing all-time record of 5,714 Strikeouts. Besides the K's, Ryan threw 7 career No-Hitters! He was a first ballot selection to the Cooperstown Hall of Fame in 1999.

This particular picture was an AP (Associated Press) photo  taken of Houston Astros pitcher Nolan Ryan as he attempts to tag runner Alan Wiggins of the Padres at home following a wild pitch. He is off balance and unable to handle the catcher's throw and apply a tag, a great action shot. Nolan is wearing his home Astros uniform and cap.
It is clean and unsigned, the reverse is all white, no writing.
It will be shipped flat and carefully packed.
This vintage photo comes from a friend who closed up her late- husband's Podiatry office and now she has a huge collection of books, foot-care products, celebrity and sports autographs, an Elvis collection, a Buffalo Nickel collection and more in the garage of her home.
