Very few people in the world have one of these beauties. Made from 3" air-dried Oregon myrtlewood I sourced for color along the southern coast. This one finished out at 2 5/8" thick 23" long by 17" deep. Tung oil and wax finish.

    Description

    As far as I know, no one else has ever made large platforms out of Oregon myrtlewood.  They were one of my resonance control products I sold when I had my site up and myrtlewood shop open. I still have some myrtle-burl/brass turntable weights and clamps I will list soon.
    Not only are they unique, they are beautiful to behold as some of the prettiest hardwood in the world. The resonance dampening of air-dried myrtlewood is outstanding. This one is made from 3" square stock, as all my products were.  Oil and wax finish.  It is quite heavy at 25 lbs.
