Music Hall MMF 5.1 Turntable

Description

Mid 2000's Music Hall MMF 5.1 Turntable. Grado RED cartridge. Unit powers on, plays and spins, but appears to be spinning slowly (music plays flat). I am not an audio equipment expert and am unable to accurately diagnoise the issue. It currently has an aftermarket (non music hall) belt, that could be the problem, or the motor could use some adjusting/lubrication, or perhaps the motor itself needs changed. I reached out to Roy at Music Hall and he indicated to me that motors for this particular model will be available later this year. Stylus appears to be in good shape, various dings, scratches and bruises from years of moves but nothing that wouldn't cover up nicely or buff out. Sad to see it go and wish I could restore (this is a very fine table), but am not really listening to records much anymore and am downsizing.
