    Description

    Marcof Electronics developed the Glasmat as a replacement for the ordinary rubber mat on most turntables. Glasmat was designed to extract more information from the phone cartridge by providing a proper interface between the platter and the disc. The Glasmat is 11 5/16" in diameter by 3/8" thick and weighs 26 oz. The glass is covered with a special thin anti-static fabric on both sides. Must be used with a record clamp or weight. Brand new in factory sealed box.
    I used the glasmat on all my turntables with great success. My turntable/tonearm/cartridge combo sounded better than any of the stock rubber or upgrade mats of the era. The better the tonearm/cartridge combo you have the better the Glasmat works. Performs exceptionally well on direct drive turntables.
