Description

Up for auction is a 24 count lot of fertile Lavender Orpington eggs ready for your incubator. The Lavender Orpington is a heritage breed chicken. The breed and variety is well suited to backyard  as well as homestead chicken raising. These birds are  good multi-purpose poultry. Nice size for a meat bird with consistent egg production. The Orpingtons are a brown egg layer. We find them to be a very good in a flock setting. The roosters are very docile.  We maintain a a flock of orpingtons at a 5 to 1 ratio...hens to roosters.  We collect eggs several times per day. Your eggs will be fresh and carefully packed. We ship by USPS Priority mail.
