    Description

King Edward VIII Death PNC, 1972
    Arlington Supplies, London, England
This PNC honors King Edward VIII on the date of his death. The PNC was purchased from Arlington Supplies in London, England.
The envelope is about 6-3/8" wide and 4-1/2" high. A 1-1/2" diameter window has been made near the center of the envelope to hold the coin. The stamps are in the upper right corner, and an image and information about King Edward VIII are at the left side. The envelope is sealed, so inspection of the contents inside can't be accomplished.
Stamps: Two se-tenant Great Britain Scott MH24 1-1/2 pence stamps, black Machin head. They are postmarked Windsor, Berkshire, on May 28, 1972.
Coin: British West Africa KM #16, copper-nickel one penny. It appears to be uncirculated, and about MS63 grade. The coin is about 30mm in diameter.
This PNC has been stored since it was purchased in 1972. It is, effectively, in new condition, but there is a small tear at the upper left edge of the numismatic window. Please see the photos.
