  • Condition: Being sold AS-IS and for repair-A very good quality JVC Quartz Locked/FG Servo direct drive turntable from JVC Japan. Has the original arm which appears to be in very good working order with no drooping back weight. Manual lift lever and original JVC headshell. No cartridge, dust cover and hinges. The turntable works at 33 rpm and 45 rpms speeds but does not display the speed. For a while it was just spinning at a very fast speed but now has found it's correct speeds again- I cannot gauranty that it will stay that way. The "Stop" button does not respond to touch so I have been shutting it off with the ON/Off button. This unit should be checked and repaired to be fully reliable. A few flaws on the veneered deck you can see in the photos. Please read the entire description.

    I am listing this with shipping and also as local pick-up in Middletown, CT.
    If a buyer wants to have this shipped
    , I will pack them myself to make sure that it is packed well. Turntables and tonearms are tricky to pack and ship but I have many years of experience shipping them. I am adding .00 to help cover the cost of a 2X (wall thickness) shipper carton and ample bubble wrap and foam spacers. Shipping supplies have become much more expensive over the last 12 months.
    This turntable and tonearm is sold AS-IS with no gaurantees because I believe it needs checking and repair. If you have any questions about the condition or sonics- please ask them now before buying them. I will take more images of them if a buyer asks for a look at specific areas.
