    Description

    Hobart 00-088730-1 Planetary Assembly for ALL D300 Mixers.
    Note:
    This item includes a used repainted planetary, two new bearings, one new seal, used pinion gear and used agitator shaft assembly.
    This item will fit ALL D300 mixers including applications calling for 00-088370-2 planetary assemblies.  The -2 assemblies have a deluxe chrome finish. This unit is painted. Cosmetic differences only.
    The bore and keyway are in excellent condition and have been fitted to a new planetary shaft (the shaft that this assembly is installed upon) for verification of tolerances. It is not uncommon for the planetary shaft to be damaged during the removal of the old planetary assembly. Verify that your planetary shaft is clean and deburred. A new key is always recommended. This unit is not installed with an interference fit. It should easily slide onto the planetary shaft for installation. The key should easily slide into the keyway. If you are forcing either, you need to deburr with a file.
    Lubricate the pinion gear and planetary gear using an H1 Food Grade NLGI 2 grease.
