One (1) New, High Quality Generic Replacement Stylus with proper alignment. It is an Artistic Audio LBA-D6C
This is one (1) single generic stylus that is much better quality that those competitors who are selling styluses like this for around .00. This Stylus Features Excellent Alignment, something you can not say for the ten buck brand. Alignment has to do with whether the tip of the stylus is pointing straight down. With the .00 brand, most of the time the tip is pointing a little off from straight down, and this is enough to
Distort by limiting the frequency response, because the stylus is not straight between the groves
Create distortion that is easily heard, because the stylus is touching one grove at an angle
Throw the channel balance off considerably (one speaker always louder than the other)
    Permanently damage the vinyl
The original Technics, Panasonic, Quasar and MCS cartridges were OEMed (sold to Technics, Panasonic, Quasar and MCS and many other brands) by Audio-Technica. The original Technics, Panasonic, Quasar and MCS cartridge model numbers include

) were pre-packaged in many models of Technics, Panasonic, Quasar and MCS turntables, HOWEVER, these are not the only Technics, Panasonic, Quasar and MCS cartridge that came with turntables.
To further complicate things, several EPC-series cartridges were discontinued in the 90s (like the EPC-P22, -P23, -P24, -P28 and -P202) because the company who made the cartridges and styluses for "The National Group", guess which nation...) folded. These were the "dark days" of the turntable (presently, more new vinyl records are sold every day than new CDs)! I was a Technics and Panasonic dealer when this happened, so I know what happened!
Anyway, when dealers tried to order styluses for the models of  EPC- cartridges that were no longer made, we received new EPC-71 cartridges to sell to our customers who wanted a stylus!
    So........
Some Technics turntables that say they have one of the older cartridges actually have the EPC-71 (with whatever letters after it). You
    HAVE,?
to look at the numbers on the cartridge!!!
    Look at your old stylus...
Not all Technics/Panasonic/Quasar styluses that begin with EPS-71 are the same!
    • Check the PART NUMBER!
    EPC-71WTA is
    NOT
    the same! EPS-71WTA is
    NOT
    the same!

Does your old stylus look like this one? If not, send me a picture in your message

of your stylus and/or cartridge. I probably have the one you need. Match the cartridge number up with the numbers in this listing.
If your cartridge calls for a EPS-71CS, then this IS your replacement stylus!
