This is a Backyarder Henlight system used on our poultry farm for the last couple years. The system works by simulating the rising sun - adding daylight hours for the hens to stimulate laying.
I have tested the unit and it is in great working condition. We are downsizing our farm in preparation to move to a new property and will sell our AC powered systems. We have solar powered Pastured systems that we will continue using to keep up our egg production.
The system consists of a control unit, LED light, AC power plug in cable and 3W solar panel that updates the system on lighting conditions outside. All parts mount with screws or bolts inside the chicken house. For interior use only.
