These were developed in historic Switzerland and is their national bird. This beautiful golden color is so hard to find. We have been raising these for a number of years and are amazed at how hardy and productive layers these colorful birds are. Also we keep a small percentage of Silver Spangled birds in our flock, so expect a few chicks may be the lighter color. These are fun, lovely birds that have gentle dispositions. Please note: we ship only fresh hatching eggs, but we do not guarantee the hatch rate.
