Description
I have 4 toulouse cross Pilgrim eggs up for sale. IF I can get more in, I do add, since the ganders are all toulouse, you are most likely to get gray geese , 90% of the time you will get a gray goose.....since the ratio of sexes is around 5 female to 1 male...your chances of getting a male pilgrim is slim. Most of the time you will get green and yellow toulouse appearing goslings....... if you should hatch a white gosling, you will know its a male. I try to make sure no one gets more than 1 male to 3 females or 2 males to 4 females. This increases your chances of gray geese
these gosling pictures are from 4 of my buyers....who had successfull hatches.
The eggs today are from are toulouse and Pilgrim / Toulouse cross geese
I wrap the eggs in bubble wrap and pack them well so they can take some rough treatment from the postal service. Although many of my buyers are having successful hatchinges, I cannot ansure everyone will , but I send only eggs that have signs of fertilization and never fresh from the nest. I never send out an egg that does NOT show SOME signs of life,
I give them a few days to show me some darkening in the upper half of the egg and then put them up for sale. Although they may leave my home looking fertilized, I cannot ensure a hatching success. Many factors come into play, long term shipping, rough treatment from the postal service , displaced airsacks, bubbles and eggs that just quit. I pack them = air sacks pointed up in efforts to decrease chances of broken air sacks and
you will never receive an egg from me that only exhibits a yellow yoke. I send them priority mail...in hopes the postal service is kind and gets them to you on time
