Ballast-type Test: Determine if ballast is electronic or magnetic without taking fixture apart – identify energy wasting ballasts.
The Ballast Test verifies that the ballast is providing an AC Voltage to the fluorescent lamp and senses the presence of the voltage at the filament ends of the lamp
Blinking green indicates: Test in progress, Continues to blink green if no voltage is present. Solid green indicates: Test complete, Electornic ballast is good, Times out after 15.
