A breathtaking coin which commemorates the first human in space, Yuri Gagarin, aboard the Vostok-1 vessel.  A digital printing application, with its glossy white finish on the helmet with letters CCCP (USSR) and blue sky,
beautifully
contrasts, while at the same time complimenting, the antiqued finish of the Gagarin's face and and protective and communications gear. Yuri Gagarin's likeness is captured, and while he can be seen smiling in most available film footage and photos of him, a focused yet kind expression as he gazes back at earth can be deemed quite realistic.
