Description

The BK Precision 2703c digital multimeter also known as a multitester is an averagesensing manualranging meter that measures current voltage and resistance and performs diode continuity and battery tests in electrical applications. An audible continuity sensor confirms a circuit conducts electricity and a diode test detects proper functioning of a circuit's diodes. The meter tests the battery conditions of 1.5V and 9V batteries. An alarm sounds when the test leads are connected to the wrong jack for the measurement being taken. A lowbattery indicator signals when the meter's batteries need to be replaced. A magnetic strap is included for hanging the meter from a metal door or surface for handsfree use. This averagesensing or averageresponding meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear loads such as standard induction motors and incandescent lights where the current or voltage has a sinusoidal waveform.
