Bielefelder hatching eggs. These are beautiful chickens with a wonderful disposition. They lay well and are also good meat birds, although their value is much too high to be used as a meat bird. This auction is for a dozen hatching eggs. No guarantee can be given as to the hatch rate, although you should generally expect around 70-80 percent, or better. I also have a couple of Barred Rock hens, and it is possible that you may receive an egg or two that are a cross of Bielefelder with Barred Rock. It is not extremely likely though, as my Barred Rock hens are older and don’t lay well.
Shipping is USPS Priority Mail to lower 48 only, and as such, will be insured. I pack as securely as possible, but considering the fragility of eggs, it’s possible for there to be breakage. Please understand that this is beyond my control.
