These are an excellent line of Ketawa's coming directly from our exporter in Europe. Ayam Ketawa or "laughing chicken" is a breed of chicken originating from the area of Sidenreng Rappang in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is one of several breeds of long-crowing chicken prized for the clarity and unusual length of their crows. The crow of Ayam Ketawa cocks has an unusual similarity to a human laugh. The breed was originally held as a status symbol of the Buginese royal family, but has entered into higher popularity in recent times since the fall of the monarchy.[1] Today it is still seen as a symbol of courage, social status and heroism and they compete in contests for the most perfect crow, for the Governor of Sulawesi Cup.

I, personally, have had some phenomenal hatches with shipped eggs (and some not so awesome ones, too) but I do have some tried and true methods that I love to share with people. Any information helps, right? Right.

- We guarantee that eggs will be packed appropriately with intentions to arrive to you completely intact.
- We cannot guarantee how the Post Office will handle the eggs once they leave our hands.
-We DO NOT mark packages as "fragile", "no xray", etc as this seems to encourage rough behavior with the packages. If you would like us to mark your box, we will gladly do so upon request.
Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

We do not guarantee hatch rates as this is not under our control. By ordering hatching eggs from us, you accept this
responsibility
. We DO NOT give refunds on eggs because of hatch rates under any circumstances.
- If your eggs arrive with any damage, please contact us immediately. Photos will be requested of damaged eggs. We have insurance on all parcels and will gladly help you file a claim with USPS if you choose to do so.
- If you would like to order more eggs, that is definitely an option, however, we do ship in the order the eggs were purchased so depending on the time of year, it could take awhile for us to fulfill your order.
-Any orders placed and then canceled will have a .00 fee deducted from the total purchase and shipping price. The difference will be refunded to you.
The rationale for the fee:
Orders paid for/booked are taken off the market for sale and are marked sold. Canceled orders create bookkeeping and labor cost to process the canceled order, labor to recalculate deletions and adding back on the sale sheets, along with postage or credit card fees to process credits. Our prices are not formulated for a canceled order cost.
Shipping Info:
- Hatching eggs are sent out via USPS priority mail all throughout the week. You will receive an email from me once your hatching eggs have shipped along with your tracking number. We generally have great success with USPS.
- We DO NOT mark the packages as "fragile", "no xray", etc as this seems to encourage rough behavior with the packages. If you would like us to mark your parcel, we will gladly do so upon request.
-If you would like us to have your package held at the Post Office, please email us or put your phone number in the "notes" section.
Processing Time
- We are a small, family aviary and not a large scale hatchery. We gather eggs for each order as they are placed. All hatching eggs are shipped in the order in which they were purchased. Most orders can be filled in 2 to 3 days, and some times even earlier. At times of high order volume (or during Pre Sales) orders can take up to multiple months to process. If at any time you have questions or concerns about your order, please don't hesitate to contact us.
-We collect eggs twice daily and store them on egg turners in our dark, cool hatching egg cellar. We will always send you eggs that are 3 days old or less from the date of lay to maximize your hatching success. Our hatching eggs that we offer for sale are the same eggs that we incubate ourselves.

Your feedback is based on eggs and service, NOT on your hatch rate.
