I'm an electrician, and know this meter very well. I own one of my own and occasionally use it. It's a solid meter, and is what I started out on.
I used to repair Simpson 260 & Triplett 630 meters, and am fimiliar with analog meters. I removed the difficult hex head screws (easy if you own the hex tool), and inspected this meter thoroughly. I replaced the hex screws; that are no longer available, with 8/32 nylon black oxide coated screws; in case you need in there.
I guarantee it's functions work PERFECT!
