OLD KING CHARLES SPANIEL CHALK FIGURINE
Adorable old solid chalk hand painted King Charles Spaniel dog miniature figurine measuring about 4" in height. Featuring a primitive spotted pup with molded fur, he sports long black ears, freckles and a black collar - base is painted faded green. Haven't a clue if this is an antique Staffordshire piece or a figure made in the 1940s - it has been sitting on my Mom's desk for years, so assuming it has age.
Condition is very nice with no cracks, hairlines, repairs or damage - there is a small white exposed dot on the front from where one of the molded fur lumps got knocked - paint is rather crudely and simply applied - finished front and back. Just a charming little fellow - sweet addition to any collection or display!
