Replace battery and fuse:
A. Fuses rarely need to be replaced, and almost always blow due to operating errors.
B. If the battery displays "+-", it means the battery needs to be replaced.
C. Replace the battery and fuse (500mA/250V). Remove the 2 screws at the bottom of the box. Just remove the old one and replace it with a new one. Pay attention to the polarity of the battery.
Precautions:
1. Before using the meter, please check the case. If the water meter is damaged or the case (or part of the case) is removed, do not use it. Look for cracks or missing plastic. Pay attention to the insulation around the connector.
2. Check whether the test leads have insulation damage or bare metal. Check the continuity of the test leads.
3. Do not apply a voltage exceeding the rated voltage marked on the meter between the terminals or between any terminal and the ground.
4. The rotary switch should be placed in the correct position, and the range must not be changed during measurement to avoid damage to the instrument.
5. When the effective voltage of the electric meter exceeds the effective value of 60V or 30V, special attention should be paid to the risk of electric shock.
6. Do not use or store in high temperature, humidity, flammable, explosive, strong magnetic field environment. The performance of the meter may decrease when it gets wet.
7. Before testing resistance, continuity, or diodes, disconnect circuit power and discharge all high-voltage capacitors.
8. Once the battery indicator appears, replace the battery immediately. When the battery power is low, the meter may produce erroneous readings, resulting in electric shock and personal injury.
9. Turn off the power of the meter when not in use, and remove the battery when not in use for a long time. After using for a period of time, check whether the battery leaks frequently, and replace the battery in time if there is any leakage. A leaking battery will damage the meter.
