You are buying 8+ fresh fertile SWEDISH FLOWER HEN hatching eggs plus extra(s), I try to ship12, but depends on the girls! Parents purchased directly from Greenfire Farms. I don't store eggs long, so you might have to but  give us a couple days to collect for your paid order. Most of mine are crested, but you will get both. These are NOT autosexing as chicks, that is the 55 Flower hens.

Swedish flower hens are the largest breed of chickens native to Sweden. Roosters can weigh as much as 8 lbs. With the commercialization of Sweden’s poultry flocks in the last half of the 20th Century, this breed almost became extinct. A couple of decades ago remnant flocks were identified in three small, rural Swedish villages and a focused effort was made to save the breed. By the late 1980s fewer than 500 birds existed in the world. Today, about a thousand Swedish flower hens live in about fifty scattered flocks, and until Greenfire Farms began working with this breed, few if any could be found outside remote villages in Sweden.
Even more impressive is the personality and hardiness of this breed. They are poised and confident around people, but the roosters are never aggressive toward their caretakers. They are independent enough to make excellent free-range birds, but they seek and seem to enjoy human interaction. Swedish flower hens are relatively calm but never to the point of being inert or inattentive. They seem to possess all the positive aspects of chicken personalities and none of the negatives. Our experience is that they are also unusually hardy, rarely falling ill or acting dumpy. Swedish flower hens display a level of vigor and mastery of their environment that other breeds –and quite a few people– would do well to emulate.
Few breeds are as practical as Swedish flower hens. The roosters have a powerful upright bearing and a broad chest. The hens are prolific layers for most of the year.
I will never ship you an egg I would not incubate myself, no significant thin shells or imperfections! I hate getting those from other sellers so will not do it to you! On that note depending on season hens DO NOT wipe their feet! Some smudges or a little dirt will not affect hatchability!
There are MANY reasons an egg does not develop, especially on shipped eggs. PLEASE read the pack slip for tips on handling shipped eggs. You do not handle them like eggs from your own coop! If you have a problem CONTACT ME!
DO NOT leave negative or poor feedback without the courtesy of even a contact. My phone, email and ebay messaging all WORK! Eggs are Risky! I have bought, sold, and shipped eggs for almost 40 years before there even was an ebay. I have been on the receiving end of no hatch MANY times and I am NOT like other sellers! I always work with my buyers with those problems.
I  raise these birds here in Northern Idaho with only good shelter, so don't think these birds are frail.
