8+ Ayam Cemani Fertile Hatching Eggs from our small Pennsylvania NPIP-certified homestead. We have one very handsome all black rooster, as seen in OUR OWN professional farm photos and several beautiful hens. Our birds are spoiled have access to lots grass and bugs, and are essentially free-ranged within a movable fence on our homestead.
Ayam Cemani is an uncommon and relatively modern breed of chicken from Indonesia related to their Indian cousins the Kadaknath. They have a dominant gene that causes hyperpigmentation (fibromelanosis), making the chickens black, including feathers, beak, and internal organs.
We always try include an extra egg or two with each order whenever possible, just because we know one may not make it in transit and we really want to make nice and be friends with other chicken people who share in the love of raising this unique breed.
We ship with USPS 2-Day Priority Mail.  Once the eggs are carefully packaged and shipped to you, the care and handling of eggs is out of our control. As with all shipped of hatching eggs, hatch rates can not be guaranteed as there is no way to control the handling of eggs by the post office.
There will be no refunds. We are also not responsible for hatching rates. We regularly check fertility here and know we are sending fertile eggs with every carefully packaged shipment. Please let eggs sit overnight once they arrive before placing them in the incubator. This will allow for the air sac to settle and also allow eggs to come to room temperature. If possible, place hatching eggs in incubator before turning on.
Payment: Immediate payment is required in order to assure the freshest eggs possible without delays.
We ship 2-24 hours after prompt payment Monday-Wednesday depending on auction or sale end date, with holiday delays taken into consideration. If we choose to delay shipment for inclement weather, expected holiday delays, or any other unforeseen reasons, we will communicate with you to discuss other mailing options. Please do not delay payment in order to ensure the freshest eggs and quickest shipping. Our eggs are gathered daily and stored properly to ensure freshness and improved viability.
Because eggs are hand-gathered every day, if there would become a shortage of eggs, you will be notified of a new shipping date and/or offered a refund option.
