    4.23 grams of gold.  There are 53 dinars of Caliph al Mansur graded by NGC including this one but that includes all dates of this Caliph's 22-year reign, not just this year.
    In 758 AD on June 11 there was almost a diplomatic dispute at the Tang Chinese capital Chang'an when Abbasid Arabs and Uyghur Turks both arrivedto offer tribute.  They worked out the awkward situation when both entered at same time through two different gates.  This is a nice relic of a time when we have record of the Arab empire spanning from the Atlantic Ocean along North Africa and Spain reaching out to the Chinese along the Pacific Ocean.
