    Home raised at the Franz Family Homestead. We sell both Jumbo and regular size Coturnix quail hatching eggs. Our hatch rate at home is about 90% but when eggs are shipped through the mail we cannot guarantee a high hatch rate. We do send extra eggs to account for possible issues during the shipping process. Our quail are different variations of colors. We treat our eggs with a special mixture of spray to increase hatch rate. This mixture helps kill off unwanted bacteria on the egg shell that could cause complications during the incubation period. Our quail are fed with a game bird feed with high protein. They commonly receive mealworm treats for being good birds. If there are issues with shipping contact us and we will work something out.  We also sell live birds.  They are for pickup only.  We do not ship live birds.  Chicks are per chick for our mixed birds.  for jumbo chicks.  The adults we sell are about 5 weeks old.  We wait for five weeks so we can sex them.  for mixed birds.  for jumbos.
