**These  silkied cochins are not silkie x Cochin. They are pure cochins with the silkie feather gene. Correct foot color..middle.toe feathering
I have two silkie cocks, two silkied hens and a smooth pullet. I have been hatching lots of silkied from this pen with the ocassional smooth.
Smooth cochins hatched from silkied feather can pass on the silkied gene as well.
We package to the best of our ability with packing peanuts, shavings bubble wrap and try to send extras as well in case of breakage during shipping ,
