    Description

We have been selectively breeding our polish flock for years, saving only the very best out of 200+ chicks we grow out each year. Our lovely ladies and gents have even crests and finely penciled lacing. Most have very full beards and muffs, others do not.
Rest assured these eggs come from quality breeder stock. Our beloved hens live a lavish free-range lifestyle with a wide variety of nutrition including greens, grubs, mealworms, organic scratch grains and whatever goodies they uncover along the forest edge of our property where they spend most of their time.
We have a wonderful hatch rate here with 11/12 on average hatching this spring, our best season yet. They have a better rate than any of our breeds here. These polish make wonderful broody mamas and best of all they are easy to break from staying broody if you're not looking to hatch. And, I must boast, our three broody girls hatched out 17 chicks last year and only 5 were roosters! I'm not saying your odds will be that good, but hey it's pretty encouraging. Choosing the right roosters to keep is SOOOO hard given their beauty, silly floppy crests, and those long elegant tail feathers.
Please allow about a week to collect your eggs in some cases. Usually I have some on hand anticipating the auctions ending, but at times I may need a little more time to collect.
I ONLY ship on Mondays and Tuesdays with USPS priority mail which usually to arrives in 2-3 business days, but I must point out that delivery time is beyond my control. Please let me know if you would like them picked up at the post office and send me your phone number to write on the box. I label my egg boxes only as "fragile" and "perishable". I have a good friend who works at the PO and for various reasons I truly believe this is the best way to go.
Obviously, hatching eggs are a gamble. They get wiggled and jiggled and the box exchanges hands many, many times. Once the box leaves my loving care and is handed over the post office counter t is beyond my control. I do my very best to pack them, wrapping each individually with oodles of bubble wrap and crumpled newspaper in layers. This has been very effective. I have had great chick photos received from happy customers.
IF YOUR EGGS ARRIVE SCRAMBLED LET ME KNOW ASAP AND ***SAVE THE BOX***! Take photos of any damage and attach them to a message in 'My eBay'. I always send extras as kind of an insurance policy. I DO NOT offer refunds
    in most cases
