We are a small homestead, family of four, in SC off of the Saluda River. We focus primarily on water fowl and rare conservation breeds (Welsh Harlequin, Cayuga, Ayam Cemani, Svart Höna, Silver ‘Splash’ laced Red Wyandotte’s, and Icelandic Chickens). We are currently working towards our NPIP certification this year. Our plan was to go online next year but have decided to sell on ebay till our site is up and running. Welsh Harlequin. We are year 2 into adding these beautiful calm water fowl into out homestead, and we love them. Calm, quiet, friendly, they make great pets or livestock. They lay daily all year long.
We currently have a few girls, our next years breeders growing out, and a year or happy customers that provides us with updated photos.
We are focusing on higher end ‘show quality’, but pet quality price. We are adding golden lacing into our hens, we have a couple girls now with it and really love the plumage. We currently are on the waitlist for September to import more show quality into our line, so for now our prices will be cheaper but next year will rise a little.
September we also look forward to be back selling Cayuga, and have a 20yr winning show quality bloodline being imported to us.

SHIPPING & HANDELING
If you have never ordered shipping eggs before please do your research, and look into the time, weather, and distance it will be to receive them. even if we ship 3 day priority expect 3-5 days.
Eggs will arrived unclean/unwashed.
It is recommended that once you receive your eggs that you allow them to sit room temp for 24hrs before putting them in your incubator. We like 95.5-100F and 55% humidity. If hand turning turn once a day.
The day your order is shipped out will be the day eggs are layed for higher chance of success.
Please be patient as we do sell eggs locally, it could be 3-7 days before your order is shipped but we will email you the details of your order.

DUCKLING CARE & DIET
After hatch start ducklings at 95F and decrease by 5 degrees every week. Add a cool down spot in brooder. Free feed and water. To ensure proper diet you may choose a duck formulated feed (niacin and over a 20% protein content) or you may supplement niacin through brewers yeast or nutrional yeast with regular chick crumble/or a meat bird feed(the protein content is higher).

FERTILITY & REFUNDS
When you place your order the eggs will be layed the day or the freshest to insure a higher fertility rate. Most will say getting a 50/50 out of a hatch rate for shipping eggs is good but we guarantee 90% more. We hatch monthly and test our eggs and get 95-100% hatch rate on our own. We can guarantee that their fertile but we cannot guarantee they will hatch due to your incubation methods. We also send a couple extra eggs to be sure, and in case any are damaged in travel. Which does happen often no matter how one packages or labels the shipping contents. For orders we add insurance to be sure if all eggs become damaged then you will be refunded if post refunds. Proof must be shown of damage day of delivery. However we do not do refunds on eggs outside of if USPS covers their damage. PLEASE BE AWARE THERE IS ALWAYS A RISK ORDERING HATCHING EGGS.

POLICY
• I can guarantee fertility, I cannot guarantee your eggs will hatch based on your incubation methods.
•Buying mail order eggs is a RISK. Eggs are naturally moved across state lines. There will always be affective risk factors such as shipping delays, weather, shaking of the eggs in route to you, or damage of a egg.
•I do not replace or refund any damaged eggs, I will send extras in case any eggs are damaged. If USPS refunds us on the loss we will send it to you but it is not guaranteed.
• Eggs are collected daily, we will mostly send you eggs laid on your ship date or the freshest to insure they get to you before day 10, but it is not guaranteed if USPS has delays.
• Handling time will typically be in 1 to 3 days depending on egg availability. Since we also sell eating eggs and ducklings locally It will be when your order is next.
