    Description

You are bidding on 12+ hatching eggs from our small flock of mixed breed ducks. My drakes are all purebred (and critically endangered) dutch hookbills and my females include purebred pekins, khaki campbells, and fawn/white indian runners. Depending on the day the eggs are gathered, you may also end up with a snowy dutch hookbill egg or two. (For orders of hookbill eggs only, see my other listings.) These ducks live free range and happy on our farm in southern West Virginia. All of my layers (except one runner) lay white eggs, so the mix you get will truly be a mystery.
    The
utmost care will be taken when packaging and shipping
these eggs! If you're able to pick up locally, I would
    strongly
urge you to do so, as
    w
    e cannot guarantee hatch rates
due to the fact that many things are beyond our control once the eggs leave our farm. Once you receive the eggs, I recommend putting them under a broody hen or duck for best results.
I'm getting very good fertility with these
    . Nevertheless,
    fertility is not guaranteed.
I will include egg-stras when available. :) I gather my eggs throughout the week and each one will be labeled in pencil with the date it was laid. You will receive the freshest eggs possible and
I will message you a few days before yours go out so you can be ready for them!
I can include a 72-hour heat pack upon request; however, it can cause the eggs to start developing in the box if they get too hot, so I don't recommend it (especially in warm summer months). I cover the box with FRAGILE stickers usually but can remove them if requested. If you purchase multiple quantities and all the eggs fit in the same box, I will give you a partial shipping refund. Please let me know in a message if you would like me to mark your eggs to be held at the post office. I will need your phone number so they can call you.
I only ship to the USA lower 48, sorry. Due to the nature of the item, I also don't ship to PO/AFO/FPO boxes.
Please know that while I do my best to brush each egg off with a dry brush, there may still be poop on some of your eggs. You can trust that my flock is healthy and parasite-free and that the poop will not cause any harm.
No returns, refunds, or exchanges on hatching eggs.
I will do my best to accommodate packaging requests, but there are no guarantees I'll be able to fill all of them. I package these eggs VERY carefully and bring them to the post office myself.
Broken eggs are not my fault,
as every egg I ship is candled for cracks before being sent out.
Please base your feedback on my customer service,
    not
on the arrival condition, hatch rate, or fertility of your eggs.
Shipping hatching eggs is a gamble with USPS as the middleman, and results are far from guaranteed. I recommend letting the eggs rest for a day after arrival before incubating.
If half or more of your eggs arrive broken, I am willing to replace the broken eggs for just the cost of shipping should you contact me with pictures as soon as they arrive. I will only do this one time per person. Please contact me ASAP if you need replacements!
