Very rare little birds with less than a few hundred in the US. We have been working with bantam Speckled Sussex since 2015. They are in desperate need of more dedicated breeders. I don't offer many eggs each year, so grab them while you can.
The hens are reliable layers of small tan eggs just like their larger counterparts. The chicks hatch chipmunk striped and are vigorous and fast growing.
Fertility has been tested and is 90% here in the farm. We tested and hatch weekly from Jan-July.
These rare little birds would make a great addition to your flock, breeding or 4H program.
We package to the best of our ability with packing peanuts, shavings, bubble wrap and try to send extras as well in case of breakage during shipping ,
