Eggs are collected every day and sent fresh. We have a great hatching rate at the Farm. But Please know before buying that shipped hatching eggs are a risk, not because they are not fertile, but because delicate membranes in the egg can be damaged during the process and reduce or destroy the eggs viability. Also they can be exposed to harsh conditions, dropped, x-rayed, anything can happen once they are dropped off at the post office. It's totally out of my control. I do not except returns! NO REPLACEMENTS or REFUNDS!

DUCK EGGS. FERTILE ASSORTED BARN YARD MIXED DUCK HATCHING EGGS. THE DUCKS WE HAVE ARE WHITE PEKIN, ROUEN, CAYUGA, WELSH HARLEQUIN, WHITE CRESTED PEKIN , blue Swedish. Buff Duck, Crested Domesticated Gray Mallard, brown, blue , lavender Muscovy, black and white Muscovy, and white Muscovy Ducks
Set the temperature at 37.5°C (99.5°F) and relative humidity at 55% (84.5°F on wet bulb thermometer). Set ventilation as recommended by the incubator manufacturer. Eggs must be turned, either automatically or by hand, a minimum of 4 times a day.
FERTILE HATCHING EGGS. The winning bidder will get fresh eggs from my ducks. The eggs will not be washed just brushed off from any grass in the nest. dirty eggs do not have any affect on the hatching rate, if they get washed, it destroys the protection film that the ducks put on them. when a hen or duck sets on her eggs she does not wash the eggs and normally she has a very good hatch rate. You are buying eggs not the hatching ability, because there are too many factors to consider.
I will package the eggs to be as protected as possible so this does not happen.

In good faith, please trust I inspect and ship the freshest eggs possible. EGGS CANNOT BE DETERMINED WHETHER THEY ARE FERTILE OR NOT PRIOR TO INCUBATION. THEREFORE I DO NOT GUARANTEE FERTILITY!! Nor do I guarantee hatches. There are simply a multitude of variables, both natural and in human involvement,(like shipping and your incubation techniques), that I can't control.

Once you have candled the eggs and determined they that are still viable you should let them rest for at least 12 hours as this will help to repair any micro-tears that could have occurred during the shipping process. Lastly, before I set the eggs I dip each one in room temperature water to help bring the humidity level up in the eggs.
Once they are fledged you need only provide water and love and watch them grow and reproduce.

We advise that the eggs be carefully UN-wrapped then placed in a cool-humid storage area. Ideal storage conditions include a 55 to 68 degrees F. temperature and 75% relative humidity. Store the eggs with the small end pointed downward over night or 24 hrs. To help the egg settle.

Unfortunately, fragile duck embryos in hatching eggs can easily be destroyed during shipment by any number of causes including rough handling, temperature extremes, fluctuating air pressure in airplanes, and X-ray scanners. Although we take the upmost and extreme care in packing eggs for shipment, we cannot guarantee the viability of any hatching eggs that we ship to customers. The customer assumes all the risk of damage or loss during shipment.
