THERE ARE NO CANCELLATIONS AFTER YOU PURCHASE!!
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING
BEFORE
YOU PURCHASE:
When you buy or promise to buy you are making a conscious purchase. That blue “BUY NOW” tab is very conspicuous, and it doesn’t click by itself. I will no longer cancel orders for any reason other than my chickens have quit laying and I cannot fulfill the order because I do not have the product. In that case, I will contact you out of consideration and respect for you and notify you that I am cancelling your order and issuing a full refund. From here on now, If I must cancel any orders that is not for the reason I just mentioned, it will result in a negative feedback and blocking the person from placing future orders.
If you have a question about a particular flock, please go over the description first. Chances are you will find the answer to your question faster that way.
You understand eBay’s shipping and handling time does not apply to hatching eggs. We work with animals. Animals are unpredictable.
Please do not leave me a neutral or negative feedback when you have not cared about how your eggs reached you. I say this over and over. I cannot stress enough about how hard USPS treat your eggs to endure another trip from the carrier directly to your home. If you want better hatch rates start requesting that your package is marked "HOLD FOR PICK UP" and don't forget to click on "ADD NOTE" during check out to provide your number for your PO.
Neutral feedback is NOT positive feedback, thus I appreciate if you can bring to my attention FIRST so we can have a discussion. If you received broken eggs, please contact me FIRST. If you did the right thing, going to the PO to pick up your eggs there and the box was dented, you can refuse to accept the package and this is one case I would gladly refund you without thinking twice. Just make sure I have pictures of it. If you opted to have them delivered straight to your home and you found broken eggs inside, do not contact me. Instead, go online and file a claim with USPS to recover your loss. I always try to send a decent amount of extras to cover any loss that may occur during transit. I have only had 2 reports of broken eggs this year so far and both were from buyers who opted to have their eggs delivered directly to their home.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you request “HOLD FOR PICK UP” please provide your number DURING check out by clicking on the ADD NOTE blue tab. This is the ONLY place I can see your number right away and at the time I am purchasing your shipping label. I can't no longer go through my mail to search for your number. Sometimes the system is a struggle, especially on the phone app. So if it isn’t in the note section, eggs will be shipped directly to your door.
You agree to leave a
positive
feedback based on the positive things I have done for you as it relates to your order (packaging, communication, and camaraderie ONLY)
You understand that extra eggs are a courtesy and not an obligation. They are sent when available, to offset any loss that may occur and to maximize your chances of getting a decent hatch.
Please, PLEASE
do
contact me if you requested to pick up your package at the post office and still had broken eggs inside. I will make it right in most cases when the buyer opts to have the eggs held at the local post office for pick up.
You understand that all the eggs you are getting from me are presumed to be fertile for I usually have more than one or two roosters in each coop, depending upon the number of hens I have, but all of them have at least two.
You understand that eggs may not develop due to factors outside my control. I recommend everyone to watch and bookmark this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Up1_60DpeT4 as it explains really well what eggs go through during transit and offers tips to overcome detached air cells that normally occur in shipped eggs.
You understand that the only way to see if an egg is fertile is by cracking it and locating the blastocyst inside. That is the only way. Do research on this before making false claim without evidence.
Understand that I do not guarantee hatch rates. Everything I offer you I have ran multiple successful fertility and hatch rate tests here. I send you the very best, fresh only eggs. I package them well, with love, and care. The rest is up to USPS handling, mother nature, your hatching skills, and humidity. For this reason, when you purchase from me you agree not to leave any feedback on hatch rates, but package and communication with me alone. I can’t control hatch rates outside my farm.
Please understand that I do not return messages about poor hatch rates. There is nothing I can do other than say "Thank you for letting me know." When you buy eggs from me, you have agreed to my policies and you are fully aware of all the risks involved with purchasing fertile eggs through the mail. If you did all the right things from the beginning, and had
ZERO
eggs hatched because
NONE
of them
developed
, then please contact me and we can have a discussion. I am a buyer as well. I have purchased numerous sets from different people whose eggs were not viable. I have never given anyone a neutral or negative feedback because I know what happens to these eggs when they are placed in the hands of our postal service. I just had 6 out of 10 chicks dead on arrival from a popular breeder in California. They (USPS) let my chicks sit at the airport in St. Francisco for two days!! We paid for express next day service and they sat for two days before they finally put them on a plane to Tampa, so you get the picture!
I am posting this in all of my listings and it does not pay respect to any of them in particular.
If more than one person contacts me privately about a certain flock they got non-viable eggs from, I will end that listing and investigate the matter myself before relisting it again. I love chicken people and love my chickens. I want you to be happy and successful with what you get from us so offering a quality product is high priority to me.
About our Coturnix Quail
We raise two colors of Coturnix Quail: Texas Am (white one with a brown spot) and Japanese Pharaoh, also known as Jumbo Brown. These are the only the only kinds of Coturnix quail we raise because they yield the most meat at processing and the hens are prolific layers of delicious and highly nutritious eggs that are bigger than the average size quail egg. We feed our quail premium gamebird 30% protein for optimal health and performance. We hatch hundred of babies that are healthy and resilient. Each hatch is better than the last. We are at 97% hatch rate here on both kinds. We keep each of the two colors we have in separate tractors. Our quail has access to sunlight, fresh water, organic alfalfa sprouts, among other seasonal treats. Mortality is low. They provide a wonderful way for self-sufficiency and self-sustainability. Our hens begin laying religiously at 6-7 weeks of age and the males are ready for the table at 9 weeks. When you order quail eggs from us, you will receive the freshest of the eggs. They will be no more than a 2-3 days old because we'll pack same day harvest, depending upon the size of your order. We believe that selling fresh eggs are the hallmark of our business. We are known in the community we serve for providing our customers with the freshest of the eggs. They will be packet in super cute pulp vintage cartons and will be sold by the dozen. They will be unwashed so that if you can incubate and hatch them if you choose to. If you prefer a color over the other, just leave us a note at check out and we will try our best to accommodate your request.
Ordering
You are ordering 24 fresh and fertile Coturnix quail hatching eggs from one or both of my Coturnix quail tractors. Cost is and it includes shipping and handling. Currently, we ONLY ship within the 48 contiguous states. I AM SORRY I CAN'T SHIP TO PUERTO RICO DUE TO PUERTO RICO'S POULTRY REGULATIONS. PLEASE DO NOT ASK!
We are a small scale poultry operation. We keep small flocks of every breed and bird species we raise. For this reason alone, please understand that we operate on a first come first serve basis. Please do not rely on eBay's estimated shipping. It is not applicable to the hatching egg business. I will not ship old eggs. If you are in a hurry for hatching eggs, please check in with another seller. There will be times, when eggs will be ready to ship and other times, there could a waiting period. I will keep you updated and let you know when your order ships.
Sometimes, we have a waiting list as well. We collect fresh eggs for every customer and only ship the freshest eggs collected within a maximum window of 72 hours.
Please note we work animals that are unpredictable. Just like us, they have good days and bad days as well. If I cannot fill your order due to broodiness, molt, heat, or any other factor that affects laying, I will contact you as soon as possible and issue you a full refund right away.
